Mission

Recent years have made many states not simply unwelcoming, but dangerous for trans and nonbinary people to inhabit. Red State Refugees believes that all people deserve to be safe regardless of gender identity.  Our mission is to help trans and nonbinary people in unsafe places relocate where necessary and possible. We also know that nobody should have to move to be safe, and we provide resources to help trans and nonbinary people survive where they are and advocate for their basic human rights.
